The first drama I've seen with Yoo Ah In. I thought he was hot. There's a few scenes in this drama where he is shirtless. This is for the girls :) His style in terms of hair was not the usual with bangs or the curly mop that Kdramas like to style their male protagonists.

Kang Young Gul owned a vendor fashion clothing business called Young Girl in Dongdaemun Market making and selling imitation/rip off label clothing. He was unambitious and had no desire to do anything more. Life was easy, come and go as he pleases and sleeping on the job at times.

Lee Ga Young appears at his factory one day looking for work and boarding. Coincidentally they had met in the past when they were very young but this is not shown until a few episodes in to the drama. Ga Young is a very ambitious and talented designer. She has had a rough life with her parent's business stolen from her mother by one of the workers, Madame Jo. Her parents died in a car crash which later appears to have been set up by Madam Jo. She stayed with Madam Jo and had to endure mistreatment because she had no where else to go.

Ga Young had great talent for design and was accepted in to the Fashion Design School of New York. Young Gul follows her there and gets into trouble. Both had developed feelings for each other during the period spent in New York but neither admitted it.

Circumstances brought them back to South Korea. Being an ambitious designer that she is, Ga Young goes to work in Jung Jae Hyuk's prestigious fashion company, a out-of-Young Gul's -league rival whom Young Gul hated. Off course this sparks a lot of tension. To make things worse, Jae Hyuk is also attracted to Ga Young.

The story goes round and round with Young Gul and Jae Hyuk in fashion rivalry as they try to out do each other. Young Gul becomes very successful in the end with the help of Anna Choi, Jae Hyuk's ex girlfriend. The more successful he becomes, the more arrogant and ruthless he becomes which may be the cause of his demise at the end.

The plot was excellent and exciting at first, especially the rivalry in fashion and in love between Young Gul and Jae Hyuk. However, it seemed to sizzle out into nothing. The storyline jumped back and forth, just like Ga Young's indecisiveness to be with Young Gul or to be with Jae Hyuk. I personally believes she truly loves Young Gul but is too spineless, gullible and easily influenced so ended up being by Jae Hyuk's side.

Ga Young is a very young and naive young woman who is easily influenced, bullied and persuaded even though she knows it's not right. She's spineless and indecisive. I just wanted to slap some sense in to her.

Favourite scenes: Ga Young finally was brave enough to tell Young Gul that she loved him outside his apartment door crying. Another scene was at the hotel where they finally hooked up.

The most painful scene was near the end when Ga Young stepped out of the hotel in New York and Young Gul was waiting outside with flowers. He had sent her a ticket while she was in South Korea to come to New York to be with him as he had resided there after he caused Jae Hyuk's company to lose a lot of money. However, due to Jae Hyuk's desperation in wanting Ga Young, he had gone through her mail and ripped the airfare so Ga Young never found the letter with the airfare from Young Gul. You could see the pain in Young Gul's face seeing his love with another man, a man he despised so much too.

Now, the ending was the most stupidest ending ever in any drama I've seen. Heart broken Young Gul was wearing leather pants, bare chested and wearing a fur coat drinking wine lying in his swimming pool, when some unknown stranger comes in and shoots him in the head while he was calling Ga Young telling her how much he missed her and loved her.

Obviously Ga Young must have heard the shot! and who was that stranger? Was it someone that Madam Jo hired due to all the difficulties Young Gul put her through? Or was it Jae Hyuk's dad because Young Gul made him lose a lot of money?

No closure was provided. It just ended with the shot. How ridiculous! We'll never know who hired the hitman. So many unanswered questions. Will Ga Young stay with mommy's boy Jae Hyuk? Did she know that Young Gul was killed? I could not believe the ending! Two days after watching this drama, I woke up thinking WTF? Nooooo....how can the drama end and hang like that? Arrrrgh...I think the writer got lazy at the end and decided Yep, I'll just end it like this because I can't be bothered writing anymore episodes.

The moral of the story: what goes around comes around - Karma. Know when to stop and not press on in making others lives miserable because of your own selfish revenge.

OST: I like these two songs: I’ll Be Waiting – SNSD’s Seo Hyun, Standstill – K.Heart.

I enjoyed this drama nevertheless. The last two episodes just sizzled into nothing. A very hot young cast and nice eye candy.

I recommend this drama but beware of the ending. It's not really a shocker now that you've read the review/spoiler ^^
